Designing Spaces with Purpose
Designed Projects
A Neighborhood Recreation Hub
This project envisions a neighborhood-focused recreational center designed to reconnect South Philadelphia residents through sport, green space, and community engagement. Situated across from a proposed SEPTA station and just a 10-minute walk from the city’s sports complex, the site serves as a vital connector between multiple neighborhoods. The proposal includes two convertible tee-ball fields that can also serve as small soccer fields, an indoor gymnasium, and an urban farming area along Broad Street. A surrounding community hub supports gathering, wellness, and local events. Over 50% of the site is dedicated to passive recreation, promoting healthy lifestyles and accessible open space.

Mixed-Use Rowhouse Infill Study
This project explores the redevelopment potential of a 960 sq. ft. two-story urban rowhouse within a dense mixed-use context. The proposal responds to surrounding building typologies while aligning with CMX-1 zoning and RMX-1 district requirements.
Through site analysis, zoning review, and massing studies, the design demonstrates how small-scale infill can maximize spatial efficiency, meet code compliance, and strengthen the existing streetscape.
